What's folder Archiver?
Its a little utility that lets you export all messages in an Outlook folder, and save
them as individual files in a folder in your hard disk.
The functionality is the same as the one offered by Outlook, using the menu option File
-> Save as -> *.msg. The diferences are:
 | We apply this operation massively, to all messages in an Outlook folder. |
 | It proposses a name for every message, based on subject, date and time, so as to:
 | Get unique names, not overwriting other messages on export. |
 | Related messages get similar names, so the appear alfabetically near in explorer's
window. |
|
 | The Folder hierarchy is preserved automatically, creating new folders as necesary. |
 | As another good point about it, the *.msg files can be kept and read from a CD-ROM.
That's something you can't do with *.pst files for personal folders. |
