Net Vampire is a shareware utility that lets you download files from the Internet, both in ftp and http protocols. Using it you can restart an incomplete download at the point it stopped. I find it to be an useful program, cause it gives you the oportunity to resume downloadings, and because of the different ways you have to define a new job for NV. I have developed a support library to enhance NV automation, in order to use it from
other applications. Besides, I'm including a sample program using the library, and which shows a windows with all downloaded files, and let's you drag them to an Explorer Window, in order to save them in the folder you choose. In a future you'll be able to define new ones, and some other things. The sample program will provide additional ways of saving files, as for instance, moving them automatically to a folder depending of the original URL it was downloaded from.
You can get the program and more information about it here: You can get my programs as source code NVAutoSrc.zip or as executables. If you download the exe file, you'll need to prepare a directory with all the necesary files for installation. To do so, you'll need to unzip all there zip files into the same directory:
After that run the setup program. |
